BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:35 P.M.) – A couple of buses filled with Kurdish YPG volunteers from the Sheikh Maqsoud District of Aleppo reportedly entered the Afrin region, pro-YPG activists reported this morning.

According to the reports, the buses traveled through Syrian government lines and reached the Afrin region from the predominately Shiite towns of Al-Zahra’a and Nubl.

Upon their arrival, the YPG fighters were greeted by a large crowd inside Afrin city, which is the area that was targeted by Turkish artillery shells this past weekend.
Below are the photos of the volunteers entering Afrin:

Starting to look like YPG / SDF has circulated rumors of the SAA entering the Kurds battle against Turkey to suck in any bodies for defense that they can. A couple of bus loads of YPG cannon fodder will not change the out come.

The outcome will be guerilla war for years just like in Anatolia.
