BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:00 P.M.) – The Yemeni Ministry of Interior announced they have busted the Houthi sleeper cell that was behind the Lahj parade attack last week.
According to the Yemeni Ministry of Interior, their intel forces captured the perpetrators of the attack in the Lahj Governorate of southern Yemen.
The Yemeni Ministry of Interior did not release any more details regarding this arrest.
Last week, the Houthi forces carried out a deadly attack on a Yemeni military parade at the Al-Anad Airbase; this resulted in the death of several high ranking army officers.
The Houthi forces used their domestically-made Qassef-1 drone to bomb the military parade; this would catch the Yemeni Army off guard.
