Western countries are accusing Damascus of deploying chemical weapons as a pretext for airstrikes on Syrian government forces, Syrian President Bashar Al–Assad said Sunday.

“The issue of the chemical weapons became one of the entries in the Western dictionary of lies. This is simply blackmail, used only as a pretext for airstrikes on the Syrian Armed Forces,” Assad said, quoted by the press service.

Moreover, the international US-led coalition is supporting the Daesh terrorist organization, the Nusra Front terrorist group and other terrorists, Assad said Sunday.

“This coalition supports the IS [Daesh], Nusra Front and other similar terrorist groups,” Assad said, quoted by his press service.

Assad stated that the operation against militants in Syria’s Eastern Ghouta would continue alongside measures to allow civilians to leave the enclave.

“Most in Ghouta want to leave terrorists for the cover of the homeland, so the operation against terrorists will continue, while simultaneously the possibility for the civilians to leave for the government-controlled territory will be opened,” Assad said, quoted by the SANA news agency.

It is not only a lie – this idle talk encourages the terrorists to fake chemical attacks in the hope that the West will enter the war openly to aid them. Western politicians may face the wrath of their electorate if they openly side with the terrorists. So they limit their actions of the deep state to maintain a plausible deniability and to more or less minor but spectacular “punitive” strikes. Which does not provide the terrorists with what they want and need. p.s. The victims of the past and future chemical fakes and of the counter strikes must be… Read more »

Oh, you perfectly know it’s only US/UK : neither French nor Germans will do anything, actually, Macron also stated that proofs will be required for any French strike but also that such strikes would be on any group proven using chemical weapons, this means that Nusra, Jaysh al-Islam or others who already used such weapons are very likely to be targeted while even Mattis said there were ZERO proven Syrian govt chemical strikes. Actually, I even find the use of the expression ‘the West’ a bit stupid : it’s the Anglos. EU has nothing to do with all this s**t!… Read more »

No mon ami, this time all talk about chemical attacks. Not only the Anglos or the 5 eyes. So the countries in the West – that could stage attacks now or after some preparation because they have the military-industrial capacity and size to prepare such an attack – slandered and warned. France has a tradition on reckless behaviour. In the past in Europe and now in the ex-colonies. Think of the dozens of wars the French Kings and the republic staged against Germany before Germany united in 1870. La Revange was the call because la France got away with it… Read more »

The West is trying to demonize the Syrian government by such accusations. The West is responsible for the fake revolution, for thousands of innocent victims in Syria, for creation of Daesh, so the West is trying to blame Assad and to make him a scapegoat for what happened. They have no choice.

What “West”? It’s just the Anglos! Actually, they also want to f**k the EU, their goal is “global energy dominance” and the #1 energy market is the EU. It’s high time for EU leaders to understand that USA and UK are no more allies but act as enemies for us too!

They do not see it that way. In their deeply divided society something like EU would not exist, They are like the US exceptionalists. Only that they have the aim – they must have all.

And we in the EU must feed and house the young Arabs that find no work at home.

They do not understand they are into the same thing as the Zionists and the US. Only that the beneficiaries must be from a different group. Their group.

You Muslims just use House of the West without knowing that some Westerners understand it means enemy. So what is wrong? You are the enemy of the West? Make sure that the West does not unite to be Your enemy! Because currently You have only trouble with the US and some other countries in the West. Assad is a President in a presidential democracy and that is just a would be petty king or dictator. The French and the Anglos have that too. And Erdogan introduced it to Turkey. You Syrians are Yourself responsible too. Assad’s system and the foreign… Read more »

Fake isin’t real. Talk about it. West, I am, helping Assad wouln’t be real. Ok you both said that the West is demonizing Assad and the conflict, that we help isis and are the cause of a fake revolution killing 340 000 peoples and wounbding 1000 000 and over a million refugees ? We have no heart. Chemical weapons are used and are builded by the Islamist group of islamic rebels that dangerously become insurgents with the West game, toys and power. But what is a real revolution ? What is a peace process ? Something that is coming never… Read more »
