BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:25 P.M.) – Amid an ongoing clean up operation in Syria’s eastern Qalamoun region following the surrender of local rebel groups, the Syrian Army has discovered a large cache of US-built TOW anti-tank missiles.

According to reports (somewhat backed up by video evidence show below) government forces seized dozens of TOW missiles as well as several TOW launcher systems.

The missiles and launchers were discovered at a makeshift ammunition storage site that has been built into cave within the Al-Batra mountain chain.

In the past, rebel forces in eastern Qalamoun received weapons – including American designs like the TOW – from arms smugglers (undoubtedly contracted by the intelligence agencies of surrounding nations) operating out of southern Syria.

On 1:20 Yugoslav made crate with 5 82mm mortar mines.
Who gave it to the terrorists? Serbia certainly did not send them.

As for many other stuff, might have been seized from SAA.
There were a few Milan ATGMs in their ‘arsenal’ too, these came from SAA as daddy Assad bought a lot from France or Germany.
You can’t imagine how weapon trafficking may be fluid as long you can pay : even the Sinaloa cartel has gunship-choppers with “Minigun” and rocket-launching pods!

You can’t jam TOW, it’s wire-guided! Only thing that works is smokescreen+moving.
Iran builds a TOW copy for decades, 1st version entered service in 1967!

Kosovars have connections all the way to Afghanistan where they procure opium for EU markets.
