DAMASCUS, SYRIA (3:10 P.M.) – As the self-proclaimed Islamic State increased its attacks on the Syrian forces positioned in eastern Syria, more reinforcements continue to pour into the area in order to repel the terror group.

ISIS attacks on the past few weeks have inflicted losses upon the government troops deployed in the stretching desert spanning from east Homs to the Iraqi borders.

A newly-released video footage shows a military convoy for the Iran-backed Liwa Fatemiyoun heading to the battleground near the bordering city of Albu Kamal.

The convoy consists of battle-hardened fighters, armored trucks and tanks.

Liwa Fatemiyoun (Fatemiyoun Division) is an Afghan Shia group funded and trained by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in order to fight the Islamic State alongside the Syrian government.

A very necessary campaign.
The whole of the central desert should be cleared of ISIS by the ISIS hunters.
Then the pressure should be ramped up on al-Tanf and al-Zuqf whence the ISIS reinforcements come.

I’m dubious about reinforcements coming as the ISIS held areas are surrounded.
Now, the roaches squat caves in the desert. Except for the Euphrates zone, attrition may be the best way to go, reducing them progressively while avoiding losses.
What we see here with their regain in aggressivity is more some kind of last stand-off especially as they seek martyrdom…

We have to admit that the shiites heretics coalition is the only power that can prevent the victory of global Jihadists of Ahl Al Sunna, is the only force preventing the take over of the islamic world and others unbeliever world by the Ahl Al Sunna coalition. Without them Syria, Iraq and Lebanon would be a 1000% Afghanistan, and the West should be in the first line to protect the jew toilet state. The best faraway utopia is an alliance between the Catholics, Christians Orthodox and the Shiites against the Western Judeo-Islamic Coalition. Russia is 100 % right to make… Read more »
