BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:15 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their field operations in the southeastern countryside of the Al-Suweida Governorate this week, capturing several new points from the Free Syrian Army (FSA).

Led by the 5th Corps, the Syrian Arab Army carried out an operation this week that led to the capture of the southern hills near the Safa Canyon.

Video footage of this operation was captured by the Syrian Ministry of Defense and released on Tuesday; it shows the army advancing near the Jordanian border.

The Syrian Arab Army is now in prime position to take another border site along the Jordanian border, as they gear up for another operation in the coming days.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

Strange. According to http://syriancivilwarmap.com/ which is often referred by AMN as a map, all Suwayda is under Asad control.
