BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:45 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels have launched three major attacks on the besieged towns of Kafraya and Al-Fou’aa this week, despite the fact that there is a de-escalation zone agreement in the Idlib Governorate.
According to the National Defense Forces (NDF), the their troops and Hezbollah have repeatedly beat back the jihadist rebels that have attempted to infiltrate these to besieged Shiite towns located just outside the provincial capital of Idlib.
Most recently, the jihadist rebels of Saraya Darayya and Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham attempted to break into Al-Fou’aa and Kafray from three different axes.
However, this wide-scale jihadist attack would ultimately fail after several hours of intense clashes with the Syrian military and Hezbollah.
