BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:50 P.M.) – The U.S. Coalition bombed the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions in eastern Al-Sweida, today, the Pentagon claimed this evening.

A U.S. Coalition jet allegedly attacked the Syrian Army’s positions near the Rasi’i Well after the latter advanced more than 35km into rebel-held territory near the Jordanian border.

According to a military source in Damascus, the US Coalition carried out a “warning” strike, which was meant to deter the Syrian government forces from advancing further into rebel-held territory; however, this has not been confirmed by the Syrian Army’s High Command.

The same source alleges that the Coalition jet was actually Jordanian, not a U.S. warplane.

If this report proves true, this attack by the U.S. would mark the second time this year that the Trump administration has targeted the Syrian military.

Detering the Syrian government forces in their own country?
If this is true, I hope the Syrian and allies response will live up to their dignity and honor as a free and sovereign country.
If not, that will be only the beginning of his decline for the shame and humiliation of its great Russian ally, I fear.

I have no illusions about russians. They betrayed Cuba 2x, Vietnam in 90-ies

They will not fight for Syria. They fight for “their” Tartus.

Thank god for Slavic NATOists though. Where would NATOQAEDA be without their wise cuckoldry and noble humanistic Nazi collaborator rights ideals. I listen to their words on Russias flaws very carefully. They almost dont make me laugh at them.

Shlema, you are wrong about Russia in 90th. First of all It was collapsed USSR who betrayed itself. Cuba is alive, Vietnam is alive, looking for better relations w/US. USSR is dead. So the dead man betrayed sick men after death.
What is going on now in Syria? I suspect SAA is doing something against Russian diplomacy highest level efforts.

Its ok. The Iranians will come in far greater numbers from the Iraqi side of the border not kust a recon force of 7 tanks. SAA from the Syrian side. Enjoy dying with your towelheadchoppers.

It should not be even arguable that international supporters first of all to be fighting against ISIS especially in this phase of war when Russia, Turkey, and Iran came to agreement for closer victory – ISIS must fall first, then Syria will vote with bulletins, not with guns. I do not understand why SAA fights where easier not where logical.

The US military is out of control. They have NO legal UN mandate to be in Syria or to support terrorists that oppose President Assad. The Syrian Government forces have territorial rights to go wherever they please in their own country.

The sooner the US has a brutal civil war in their own country the better.

Does anybody here know something about the site Syrianperspective? I don’t succeed to access it since two days ago. In my opinion this site has been under a cyberattack. I hope it will be resumed soon.

Sad sad….. the UN has lost whatever bit of credibility it had. What about media? Even RT has not reported it, has it? Funny thing, not one single country has protested this, not even Syria itself.

Tara ,not completely true what you wrote:
US airstrikes on Syrian forces is ‘unacceptable’: Russian FM
The Kremlin condemned the U.S. Coalition’s attack on the Syrian forces near the Al-Tanf Border-Crossing, yesterday, which killed at least six military personnel.
