BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 P.M.) – A military source in Damascus informed Al-Masdar News this evening that a joint Syrian-Russian delegation met with the rebel factions in several Dara’a Governorate town to discuss terms of reconciliation.
According to the source, the joint Syrian-Russian delegation met with rebel factions and community leaders in Mahajah, Ibta, Da’el, and several other small towns in northeastern Dara’a.
The source added that the Syrian Army and Russian Reconciliation Centre gave the rebels three options:
- Withdraw/Exit from towns ( evacuation)
- Stay in towns & settle legal status (reconciliation)
- Face decisive military operation
No response has been given thus far.
