An unidentified flying object has crashed and exploded in Northern Cyprus, local authorities have confirmed, triggering a salvo of rumors ranging from an anti-aircraft missile to a jet downed during an Israeli raid on Syria.

“Initial findings indicate the object that caused the explosion was either an aircraft carrying explosives or a direct explosive (missile),” wrote Kudret Ozersay, the foreign minister of Northern Cyprus.

The incident happened shortly after Syrian air defenses were activated to repel an air raid that Damascus blamed on Israel.

Activists have suggested that the wreckage of the object could be the debris of an Israeli missile dropped by the Syrian defenses at night, while some said it may be the debris of an S-200 launched by the Syrian defenses during the Israeli Air Force raid.

=> You should have written “OCCUPIED Northern Cyprus”. Invaded by the same terrorists that illegally Occupied Alexandretta, Idlib and Al-Bab too. The same terrorists who supplied Isis. with anything and involved with terrorism in Libya too. All together against Turkish state terrorism!

These people shouldn’t approach the remains of the missile : most of rocket fuels are VERY VERY VERY toxic.

2vintage68 .

The size and power of the explosion indicates it is far more likely an “errant” Israeli terrorist missile. Anti air defense missiles have tiny warheads not capable of doing anywhere near this amount of damage. More fake news/propaganda/misdirection in my opinion.

Assad threatens NATO. I suggest sending Assada to The Hague. Bashar belongs to the room to RATKO and RADOVAN.

Not one Israeli plane was destroyed. Assad belongs to RATKO MLADIĆ in Room 666.
