BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:00 A.M.) – The Free Syrian Army (FSA) mourned the death of two its commanders in the city of Dara’a, Sunday, following a powerful attack by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

News of these dead Free Syrian Army commanders comes just hours after the Syrian Arab Air  Force (SAAYF) and Syrian Arab Army carried out several attacks against the enemy forces in Dara’a City.

With the Syrian Arab Army prepping to launch their massive offensive in the provincial capital, the jihadist rebels find themselves in a tough predicament, as they lack the manpower and provisions to hold-out for a large-scale assault.

’cause SAA cares for the life of his own soldiers, maybe?
Urban warfare can prove extremely costly for the attacking party. Much better playing the attrition card: takes longer but spares manpower and tanks.
Unless you haven’t the “facility” that always blesses SDF and Turkish-backed “moderates”: having Daesh to put up a facade fight, sacrifying some snipers, kamikazes and IEDs but coordinating with the attacker for a full tstrategic retreat. In that case everything goes smooth, fast, and the attacker can “wipe out” the few cannon fodder left behind for justifying the farce.
