BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:05 P.M.) – A Turkish military delegation entered the Al-Ghaab Plain in northwest Hama, today, in order to setup observation points near the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) front-lines.

According to pro-opposition activists, the Turkish military delegation specifically traveled to the Al-Ziyarah Subdistrict, which is located at the Syrian Arab Army’s front-lines in northwestern Hama.

Similar to their observation points in Aleppo and Idlib, the purpose of the Turkish Army’s presence in the area is to prevent any violence from breaking out.

However, the Syrian government views these observation points as nothing more than the Turkish regime attempting to seize lands from war-torn Syria.

The Syrian government has repeatedly demanded that the Turkish military withdraw from Syria under no preconditions – Ankara has refused, adding that they are “fighting terrorists.”

It is a land grab but it’s also a convenient way for Erdogan and the US to put a stop to Russian and SAA advances in the area. Putin can not be so stupid as to not realize what’s really going on, Assad does.
