BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Air Force Intelligence (AFI) arrested two men in the Al-Quneitra province that were found to be members of an Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesd) sleeper cell.

According to a government report, the Syrian Air Force Intelligence arrested the two Islamic State members inside the town of Al-Qayd in southern Al-Quneitra.

No further details were released regarding their arrest on Thursday.

Recently, the Syrian Arab Army has intensified their combing operations in the Al-Quneitra and Dara’a provinces; this has led to the arrest of many Islamic State and Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham members, while also seizing their weapons that have been hidden in several areas across these governorates.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
