BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:30 P.M.) – The Syrian government is seeking to intensify the ongoing peace talks with the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Council (SDF), a Syrian official told the Reuters News Agency on Sunday.

“We hope for the intensification of the dialogue. Many of the Kurdish statements were positive regarding their concern for the unity of Syria,” Assistant Syrian Foreign Minister Ayman Sousan told a small group of journalists in Damascus.

“We are confident that through dialogue we can deal with some of the demands … and this dialogue guarantees that, as long as it based on a commitment to Syria’s unity.”

Sousan added that intensified dialogue was important when setting against challenges, “especially the expansionist ambitions that lead the policies of the Turkish regime”.

@USR, our friend is French. And they have no Khazar friends but masters (blink), who are pleased about the current developments. Middle East Eye reports: Senior intelligence officials from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Israel agreed at a meeting that they considered Turkey, rather than Iran, to be their major military rival in the region, and discussed plans to counter Ankara’s influence. One measure agreed on was to support Syria’s Kurds against Turkey’s attempts to expel the YPG … from the Turkish border…. Compare AMN report about US weapon convoys. Things are moving.
