BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) unleashed a powerful assaut against a group of jihadist rebels positioned in the southeastern countryside of the Idlib province this evening.

Led by their 4th Division and Republican Guard units, the Syrian Arab Army hammered the defenses of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham at the towns of Al-Hass and Jarjanaz, scoring several direct hits on the jihadist positions.

According to a military source at nearby Mhardeh, the Syrian Arab Army attack on the jihadist positions in southeast Idlib consisted of heavy artillery and surface-to-surface missiles.

This attack on Tuesday evening was carried out by the Syrian Arab Army in response to the jihadist infiltration attempt near the demilitarized zone earlier in the day.

After reporting on an attacking rebel force of 8, yes 8, rebels, AMN now reporting on a powerful SAA attack consisting of several direct hits, one wonders, will AMN now report on a laege and loud attack when a rebel farts?
