DAMASCUS, SYRIA (3:15 P.M.) – Massive reinforcements were seen heading to the northern Syria as the Syrian military amasses forces for the upcoming assault on Idlib.
The recent convoy, which belongs to the 1st Armored Division, consists of dozens of tanks, BMPs, armored vehicles, as well as more than 1000 soldiers.
The long-awaited attack on the jihadi-held province will be spearheaded by the elite Tiger Forces with great support from the Russian air force.
While no ground invasion has yet been initiated, non-stop artillery and rocket shelling – as well as precise airstrikes – are being conducted on a daily basis to undermine the military capabilities of jihadi groups.
