BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:30 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has intensified their assault in the Idlib and Hama governorates, today, in response to the large buildup of Turkish troops in northwest Syria.
According to a military source in the government stronghold of Mhardeh, the Syrian Arab Army and their allies from the National Defense Forces (NDF) struck jihadist defenses in the northern Hama towns of Al-Lataminah, Zakat, and Kafr Zita.
The Syrian Army then expanded their assault to the Idlib Governorate, where they would heavily target the towns around the jihadist stronghold of Khan Sheikhoun.
Following this assault, the Syrian Army fired several missiles towards the jihadist trenches that were dug around the towns of Taman’ah and Sukeek.
The Syrian Army is now heavily shelling Taman’ah and Sukeek in a bid to fracture the jihadist defenses in the area.
