BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a fresh attack against the jihadist rebels in northern Hama and southern Idlib this afternoon.
Using surface-to-surface missiles and artillery shells, the Syrian Arab Army hit the jihadist defenses around the towns of Tal Al-Sakhar, Sukeek, Al-Taman’ah, Al-Lataminah, and Lahaya.
The Syrian Arab Army followed this attack with a number of strikes on the jihadist defenses inside the Al-Ghaab Plain of northwest Hama.
According to a military source in the government stronghold of Mhardeh, the Syrian Army has recently intensified their assault against the jihadist defenses in response to their constant violations inside the Idlib buffer zone.
The jihadist rebels have repeatedly refused to leave the Idlib buffer zone, despite pressure from the Syrian government and the Russian military.
