People have misconceptions of what happened in Iraq, former Iraqi ruler Saddam Hussein’s granddaughter, Hareer Hussein Kamel, told RT. She hopes her new book will set the record straight on of her family.

“I chose to write the book to tell the truth. The history of my country has been largely misrepresented,” Kamel said, explaining how she felt “the responsibly to clarify” the way Iraq has been portrayed, as well as addressing the attacks on her own family.

Saddam Hussein ruled Iraq for nearly 25 years until he was toppled during a US-led invasion in 2003, and later executed. He was accused of numerous human rights violations during his tenure.

The US sent troops into the country, claiming that Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, as well as ties with Al-Qaeda.

Both allegations were later proven false. The invasion of Iraq spiraled the nation into a prolonged insurgency and civil war, which eventually led to the rise of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIL).

We now are completely aware of the lies that the u.s. used and amazingly still does to destroy these poor peoples lives, the amazing thing is that the rest of the world doesnt stand up to them in their entirety!

The Saddam Hussein’s “clan” weren’t actually poor people and the Soviet backing on them had no better results than US actions, actually, Iran’s meddling in Iraq’s domestic affairs was -and still is- worse than the US direct actions.
In fact, US finally came to understand how Khamenei and Soleimani managed to fool both Dubya and Obongo.

In fact, the main errors were
1.) Not having told the Shah to calm down his Savak who was going too far.
2.) Having let down the Shah.
Now we also did a terrible mistake by not overriding the Shah’s demand when we proposed him to liquidate Khomeini when he was in Neauphle-le-Château, which he refused.

The day Khomeini came back to Iran, this is what followed on :

And if you don’t cut the cascading falling line where necessary, everything will inexorably fall… The terrible thing was Yank misconception -or lack of will- to take out what was necessary to stop the fall of the dominos…

In the video, consider that every domino that falls is 10 lives lost and you get it. Khamenei is trying to beat the record.

Saddam Hussein wasn’t executed! It was a doppelgänger who was hung! Watch the trial and look at his teeth, then switch to young Saddam pictures : Saddam had perfectly aligned teeth, unlike the doppelgänger which also had bigger earlobes.
The real Saddam likely died in an airstrike on his hideout in Baghdad’s mid-class populated suburbs.

The pity is Saddam had no association with al-Qaeda, unlike… Iran…
When it comes to WMD, these were long scrapped in 2003 in order to get the oil for food program.
The CIA perfectly knew both these facts, some resigned operatives even went public about it. The point is Dubya/Chenney/Rummsfeld wanted “their” war… These idiots did a wonderful present to Khamenei which led to have Qassem Soleimani as the de-facto ruler of the country and the Iranian-backed civil-war where Soleimani played both Sunni and Shia sides.
