BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 A.M.) – Fierce clashes broke out between UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) troops and armed militants in the in the Qara Polly (Castelverde) area off the country’s coast, 60 kilometres (37 miles) east of Tripoli, Monday.

Over the past few days, forces allied, pro and anti GNA forces exchanged gun shots in a bid to score gains in the capital Tripoli.

The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) issued a statement on Twitter following the clashes on July 9, urging “immediate de-escalation and protection of civilians”.

That’s what happens when you worship Muslim Brotherhood and other – ahem – moderate jihadists, in order to get the – ahem -precious label of “UN-backed national accord government”.
None of them will accept to share power, but in the earlyest stage of the land grabbing – or “establishing democracy”, in westernese.
Haftar will harvest what West sowed.
