BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:40 P.M.) – The leader of the Lebanese Forces, Samir Geagea, stated during a press conference on Wednesday that Lebanon will not accept any dealings with the Syrian government in Damascus.

Geagea also attacked the Lebanese political delegation that is heading to Damascus to meet with the Syrian government.

“We will not accept any formal dealings between the Lebanese government and the so-called Syrian government, and any minister who desires to visit Syria can do so in his personal capacity and not as a formal commissioner from Lebanon,” Geagea said.

“We were surprised by some ministers’ suggestion to make official visits to Syria,” he said, noting that “what happened today is an attempt to give political impetus to the Syrian regime.”

The disgraced Lebanese politician then took a shot at Hezbollah’s Secretary General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, blaming him and his organization for their anti-GCC stance.

“There has been a violation of the agreement on the basis of which the government was formed — an attack by Sayyed Nasrallah on the Gulf States and other violations,” Geagea proclaimed.

“We will not accept any formal dealings between the Lebanese government and the so-called Syrian government, and any minister who desires to visit Syria can do so in his personal capacity and not as a formal commissioner from Lebanon,” Geagea said, wishing upon the Cabinet to take a clear position thereon, amid these circumstances.

He pointed out that “there are governments such as Turkey and Jordan which found solutions to the crisis of the displaced without having to contact the Syrian regime.”

“The Army’s mission is to carry out an attack on Daesh and clean up the mountains. It has nothing to do with the Syrian interior,” he concluded.

When Lebanon was at risk of being invaded by the Jihadists before 2016 he didn’t say anythings, hoping the Hezbollah will save his bougnoule ass while he didn’t do anythings to fight the islamists and the terrorists.

Now he is saved from Islam Dhimmis tax so he can restart the routine again: yelling against the shiites heretics for his master in Mekka.

typical behavior of a leftist : coward.

This Zionist Phalangist war criminal is an existential danger to Lebanon and to its internal peace and stability. The Lebanese Army in the hands of this US/Israeli puppet poses a real risk of a military coup which would immediately re-ignite the Lebanese civil war to the delight of the Israeli regime and the US. He needs to be removed from his post as soon as possible and a neutral and independent army chief should take his place before this US slave plunges Lebanon into violence and chaos.

“I am concerned for the security of our great nation, not so much because of any threat from without, but because of the insidious forces working from within.” General Douglas MacArthur “A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks… Read more »

He is not the chief of the Lebanese Army , ”Lebanese forces” is the name of a party that came out of the ”Kataeb” , the Phalange party of old Gemayel family , as the civil war in Lebanon reached its peak. He is certainly profiling himself now as a prominent anti-Syrian voice , expecting US dollars , Saudi-Israeli support . Since the Saudis do not control anymore the political scene in Lebanon , this traitor to national unity offers his services to the highest bidder on his knees. Such a serpent servile bootlicker.
