BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:00 P.M.) – A large Turkish military convoy was seen entering northwest Syria on Wednesday after the recent flare up of violence along the designated Idlib buffer zone.
According to opposition activists in northwestern Syria, the Turkish military convoy entered the Idlib Governorate from Turkey’s Hatay province on Wednesday afternoon.
The Turkish military convoy reportedly made their way to the northwestern countryside of the Hama Governorate, where they later took up positions near the town of Sheir Ma’ar.
The convoy reportedly consisted of at least ten military vehicles that were transporting several soldiers to this area in northwest Syria.
