BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:10 P.M.) – Jabhat Tahrir Souriya launched a big offensive in the western countryside of Aleppo, today, targeting Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions near the key town of Daret Izza.

Jabhat Tahrir Souriya’s offensive would get off to a quick start, as their forces managed to capture four localities from their former jihadist allies.

During their operation, Jabhat Tahrir Souriya captured several members of the foreign jihadist group, Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP), inside the town of Jamiyat Al-Sadiyah.

The Turkestan Islamic Party is one of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s closest allies in Syria and they continue to aid the jihadist group in their battles against Jabhat Tahrir Souriya and the Syrian government forces.

Below are some of the captured TIP militants:

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
