Arms depots in the vicinity of the Syrian cities of Hama and Aleppo were attacked in the early hours of Monday with “hostile rockets,” a military source told Sputnik.

The Israeli military has declined to comment on the strikes.

Three US officials told NBC News on condition of anonymity that Israeli F-15 jets attacked the military facilities after Iran had moved its anti-aircraft missiles there.

The media earlier reported that Syria’s 47th Brigade base in the Hama district, a military facility in northwestern Hama and a facility north of the Aleppo International Airport were targeted in the strikes.

No F-35, just as I said! I’m very serious when I say that F-35 won’t be fully operational before 2023. Actually, Su-57 will be fully combat ready before F-35. Maybe even Chinese J-20 and J-31 might be combat-ready before! All delivered F-35 are test aircraft that will have to be upgraded later! Actually, the Yankees even consider not upgrading the 200 first ones they received and keep ’em as training aircraft! At this very moment, there are only 2 stealth fighters with full combat capability : F-22 and Rafale. HAL’s Tejas Mk1A (not Mk1!!!) will also have serious stealth technology,… Read more »

Good find. A scam that shall become obsolete with the next advance of detection gear. At that price You could even decide to swarm them and their airfields with old vintage WW II tech gear.

p.s. And the real argument Your link is IMHO that the US could provide free university schooling from a portion of that amount of money. Not only for the reasons they mention.

Currently the US import a lot of free foreign trained talent to the detriment of the involuntary donor countries.

Stealth is not so hot. The next update of detection gear may make it obsolete. What then if You only have this costly F 35 in the oven? Too costly for serious all day use in each unit.

p.s. Much like the famous Tiger tanks in WW II.

No. You cannot do anything if it something is flying below radar. Except install short range ground defence. I think Pansyr system could be handy here.

How are the Israeli supposed to know who moved in something?

This claim smells like a 7 day old fish head.
