BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:45 P.M.) – Al-Qaeda-linked militants have repelled a major offensive push by Syrian pro-government forces in the countryside of West Ghouta following a recent breakthrough by the latter.

Two days ago, the Syrian pro-government forces scored a major operational victory against Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists of the Ha’yat Tahrir al-Sham jihadist group near the strategic town of Beit Jinn in western Rif Dimashq (Damascus) province, capturing the key hilltop of Tal Bard’ayyah.

However, within 24 hours, jihadist militants near Beit Jinn re-grouped and launched a powerful counter-attack employing anti-tank guided missiles and receiving air support from Israeli warplanes.

After heavy clashes, Ha’yat Tahrir al-Sham managed to drive Syrian forces from Tal Bard’ayyah, effectively reversing all army gains in the region.

Having been so firmly rebuffed and after having endured significant losses in armor, it remains unclear if Syrian pro-government forces will attempt another push on Tal Bard’ayyah which is key to liberating Beit Jinn.

It probably best to sort out ISIS first and then their sponsors in the due course of time ,whilst keeping pressure on the Israeli scum.

Calm down everyone. Everything will come in time. One only has to wait for the outstanding issues in Deir Ezzor to end well and we will see what it will happen afterwards with the support of all the united allies of Syria against those miscreants and badly sponsored of Israel.
Now I understand why God, even though he was so merciful, abandoned and dispossessed as his people to the Israel ancestors, for unfulfilled, unthankful and perverse of hearts.
As they are still the same or worse than their ancestors, I fear.

And you need to spread this word of the true face of Israel to your fellow Americans , because the way to defeat them is not to kil them but to let the world know of the truth of them and then the support will end and then they will end

oh look, a ‘stray shell’ landed in occupied syrian territory (the golan), probably in the middle of nowhere. time to bomb syrian army positions trying to stop AL QAEDA. makes you wonder, if the al qaeda linked millitants were replaced with daesh, would the IAF still attck the SAA over ‘stray shells’? yeah, probably

We have seen the U.S. and Israel doing this for years. However, The U.S. never came out in front news reports all over the world doing this. Now Israel has placed itself firmly on the side of Terrorists openly. This will reverse U.S. Foreign Policy as Americans learn of this. Bad move for Israel.

Seriously, having blown a single 130mm field gun is what you call giving air support? Andrew, you’re not serious at all! A single AH-64 is capable to carry 72 APKWS-II 70mm guided rockets AT ONCE, each with as much explosive as a TOW ATGM inside! Not counting the 1200x 30mm shells… A single F-16 is capable to carry at least 228 APKWS as you can put 3 pods of 19 per TER (triple ejector rack) under each wing pylon! Come back with narrative of air support when they’ll demolish at least 30-50 targets, at least they you could say there… Read more »
