BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:20 P.M.) – The Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) has suffered another string of losses in the eastern Euphrates region after the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) made another big push in eastern Deir Ezzor.

Backed by U.S. airstrikes, the Syrian Democratic Forces were able to assert full control over the small village of Mozan after overrunning the Islamic State’s positions on Monday morning.

In addition to capturing Mozan, the Syrian Democratic Forces managed to seize 75 percent of the nearby town of Safaqinah; this forced the Islamic State to fall further back into their small Euphrates pocket.

Once the Syrian Democratic Forces take control of Safaqinah, they will only have two towns left to capture before the Islamic State is fully eliminated from the eastern region of the Euphrates River Valley.

Two towns as in two villages. Thousands of IS, incl their families, have fled to SDF, disguised as civilians. SDF screens them all. Many are Iraqi’s. Will they be handed over to Iraqi government?

Sería bueno que la ofensiva sea sin prisioneros, los fanáticos de ISIS nunca van a cambiar y en futuro seguirán con atentados suicidas.
