According to military sources, Iraqi forces have stormed Fallujah from the south and are preparing to liberate the entire city. Currently, Iraqi forces are actively combatting and encircling Daesh militants in Jbeil and Suhada areas.

Earlier this day, the Popular Mobilization Units have confirmed that Al-Saqlawiyah is liberated from Daesh, and that Hadi Al-Ameri has entered the centre of Al-Saqlawiyah. The areas surrounding Falujah are bigger than the city itself, Hadi Al-Ameri also noted that the city of Falujah cannot be liberated without the help of the PMU.

With the month of Ramadan coming, it can be working in favor of Iraqi forces as the entire city of Fallujah is encircled and supplies are very limited to reach the besieged city of Falujah.
