BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 A.M.) – Iraq has denied a Pentagon report that alleged approximately 14,000 Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) fighters were present along the Iraqi-Syrian border.

“The figure announced by the Pentagon is extremely exaggerated,” the spokesman for the Joint Operations Command, Brig. Gen. Yahya Rasool, said in a press statement, as quoted by Iraqi News.

Rasool added that the Iraqi military had recently launched their third phase of “Operation Will of Victory”, which is meant to rid Iraq of the last Islamic State sleeper cells.

The third phase began last week and is currently being conducted inside the Diyala Governorate.

Do you know the real interest of having only one parole?
To take it back as often as possible…
What matters with Trump is not so what he may say, it’s what he does or may do.
As long as he’s Twitting, that’s OK. I start worrying when he doesn’t

LLS : you and I perfectly know what would happen if the Yanks pull out from Rojava before Idlib, Afrin and NE Aleppo are cleansed and SAA in a posture to deploy all along the Turkish border, including in Kurdistan…
In fact, the US militaries are posturing as human shields to prevent a Turkish invasion, as disturbing as it can be for many, that is a fact…

Common sense is to Send them home. This is the most viable choice but warmongers and those benefit state otherwise.

Then you have a Turkish invasion… US will leave soon up or later, Turks won’t, Syria will have to fight for every Turkish occupied square metre.

That is what is occurring now, Hama and Idlib. Turks will send fleeing terrorists to Kurd occupied areas. Idlib will fall like a domino once SAA secures the high ground. Based upon Jihadist past performances, I believe they will flee eastward and not back to turkey. you’ll have both US Proxies fighting each other.

Actually US citizens are far from paying as much taxes we pay in the EU, but they also get much less for their money and end paying more due to tuitions, while here, such expenses are covered by our higher taxes and, in the end, it costs us less…

It’s what the US does all the time, inflate the body count. They did it in Viet Nam to show they were winning before they surrendered. They did it in Iraq and Syria. The did it in Afghanistan about how the killed all the Taliban ten times over which doesn’t really explain why they are surrendering to the Taliban at this moment. Of course they will spin it as a victory.

You forget the Taliban factory in Pakistan = thousands of madrassas… As you had a Vietcong factory in China.

And US put the Chinese economy on its knees. What d’you think Mao’s “cultural revolution” was if not a war economy under disguise?

If so and I care not one way or the other , as the Chinese are very smart do you think they will allow this new incarnation to win. Oh by the way Trump has postponed tariffs on Christmas presents such as toys and TV’s as he has finally realised that Americans are paying the cost , not China. With these new tarrifs many Americans wouldn’t get a toy for Xmas. Looks like their last Xmas for awhile anyway.

As that is different to what I was saying it is nice of you to again assume .. The Taliban did not fight the Russians as they were too busy studying in the Pakistan Madrassas. Oh I forgot that. The Americans couldn’t match and kill the growth rate of the Viet Cong and I didn’t help them in China which may have been training some in Military matters . I also forgot that Patrice Lumumba University also know as the The Peoples Friendship University also trained the brighter revolutionaries but none of that has got anything to do with my… Read more »
