In this Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 photo, Ali Akbar Velayati, a top adviser to Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, gives an interview to The Associated Press at his office, in Tehran, Iran. Velayati says the election of moderate President Hasan Rouhani has provided a good opportunity for world powers to reach a deal over Iran's nuclear program. Velayati, who advises Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on key matters including the nuclear issue, tells The Associated Press that the Islamic republic will never again suspend its nuclear activities but will employ new tactics to reach out to the world to find a common language. BEIRUT,  LEBANON (9:00 P.M.) – The top aide for Iran’s Supreme Leader, ‘Ali Akbar Velayati, accused the U.S. on Friday of creating the Islamic State (ISIS) and Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorist groups.

Velayati then blasted the U.S. for occupying Syrian territory without Damascus’ approval.

The Iranian aide said that if the U.S. wants to remain inside Syria, they should know that it will be another Vietnam for them.

“They should know that Syria and the Eastern Euphrates will be another Vietnam for the US,” he added.

These comments by Velayati come just days after Iran accused the U.S. Coalition of bombing the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Iraqi paramilitary forces in southeast Syria.

“The top aide for Iran’s Supreme Leader, ‘Ali Akbar Velayati, accused the U.S. on Friday of creating the Islamic State (ISIS) and Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorist groups.” => Very interesting points to know about : Both ISIS and al-Qaeda are targets for the Yanks. The task repartition makes the Russians go after AQ while the Yanks hammer ISIS… So it’s a nonsense… Now let’s go back in time : Most of ISIS military commander were Saddam’s high ranking militaries/intelligence brasses fired by Bremer… Zarqawi did split-off from Osama/Zawahiri, right? And well, you need funding to make a so-called “axis of resistance”… Read more »

IDK who from Ali Akbar Velayati or Ali Khamenei is the most incompetent!!! It seems he’s as good as a counsellor as Huma Abedin for Killary and has terrible lacks when it comes to history and understanding of geopolitics… He’d better be careful what he wishes for because… The Yanks obtained what they wanted from the Vietnam war and what they wanted was China stopping interfering their interests. Vietnam was actually terrible, but not so for USA : 50,000 dead is nothing for US military, they lost 400,000 during WW2… This was less than Iran during the Iran-Iraq war… What… Read more »

“These comments by Velayati come just days after Iran accused the U.S. Coalition of bombing the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Iraqi paramilitary forces in southeast Syria” => Iraqi government said these weren’t Iraqi militaries but in fact Iranian Iraqi-proxies from the Iraqi-Hezbollah… The pictures from the demolished compound are very strange : It was said by Iranians it was a drone attack… But drones are lightly armed : A MQ-9 Reaper usually carries 4 Hellfires with 9kg warheads each and 2 SDB (small diameter bomb) weighting 100kg. It’s even worst with Israel : IAI Heron has a 250kg payload,… Read more »

If you consider Quran 17.104, Allah is obviously a Zionist hahahahaha. How do you consider what Syria and Iraq have became for your beloved caliphate? A single word comes to my mind : GRAVEYARD… China is a Russian proxy? And operating in Syria? Since when? Maybe should you consider stopping with Amaq crapaganda. China is one of the top 3 economies with EU and USA. Difficult to say in wich order as it depends on the economical criterias you use. In fact, they’re all very near peers. Russia being 6th economy, it seems very dubious China being its proxy, unless… Read more »
