BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 P.M.) – The Iranian Navy unveiled a new domestically-made missile launcher this morning, the Mehr News Agency reported.

The new missile launcher dubbed the ‘Konarak’ joined the Iranian Navy this morning during a ceremony to showcase this new weapon to the military.

The Mehr News report said that this ceremony was attended by Iran’s Naval Commander Rear Admiral Khanzadi.

This latest move by the Iranian Navy appears to be Tehran’s attempt to showcase their new military capabilities and weapons in the Persian Gulf.
