DAMASCUS, SYRIA (11:10 P.M.) – German court sentenced a Syrian refugee to 5 years of imprisonment for being a member of the so-called “Islamic State” (IS, formerly ISIL/ISIS) and planning a terrorist attack.

On Friday, Shaas Al-Muhammad, 20 years old, was found guilty by a court in Berlin based on charges of having links to IS and preparing an attack in Berlin, which had never been carried out thanks to well-timed reaction of law enforcers.

Being underage, according to German laws, Al-Muhammad will begin serving his term of imprisonment in a juvenile prison.

This is not the first time when a Syrian national gets sentenced in Germany. On April 10, a 16-year-old Syrian refugee was convicted of plotting a bomb attack and was sentenced to 2 years in prison.

  1. This shows that terrorists were amongst the migrants/refugees. Not to mention that most of the migrants are Afghans and Pakistanis and that people smugglers are making huge money off of it. It is mostly a scam and they are piggybacking on the turmoil in Syria as an excuse.

  2. only 5 years???? ridiculous!!!! under age at 20 years old ???? he is not fcking underage to plan attack against German ppl right??? nor he was to partake in the destruction of countless Syrian lives, this soft approach shows Europe ethical depravity…
