Gaddafi loyalists – alongside the Haftar Army – liberated the town of Zillah on Thursday after an intense battle with the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) near the port-city of Sirte.

Video footage released by the Gaddafi loyalists showed them in full control of the town after overrunning ISIS’ positions.

The Gaddafi loyalists have teamed up with their former foe, the Haftar Army, in order to beat back the extremist forces in coastal Libya.

Yesterday, Russia Today reported that the Haftar Army was launching a campaign near Sirte; this was officially confirmed on Thursday when they liberated Zillah.

there is no such thing as gaddafi loyalists anymore. Ex-Gaddafi soldiers fight on both side of Haftar, Misrata and ISIS
