BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:50 P.M.) – Several days ago, a video clip was released on pro-government social media showing mechanized forces of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) moving towards their rally points in west Aleppo.

Based on numerous reports that have been coming in over the last few days, it appears that pro-government forces are going to make another attempt at pushing further west of their current positions in and around the city of Aleppo.

In the video below can be seen tanks of both T-55 and T-72 design trekking towards front-line gathering points being accompanied by well-equipped storming troops. Furthermore, artillery units are shown carrying out ranging shots as they dial in their pre-assault bombardment coordinates.

The exact target sector being eyed out by the Syrian high command is unknown. However, if and when the offensive blow is delivered by pro-government forces, it will most likely either be in the area of the Military Research Facility and the Rashideen suburbs (directly west of Aleppo city) or against the Anadan Plains region (northwest of Aleppo city).
