BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:25 P.M.) – Lebanese Army Intelligence officers arrested five Syrians in the Masharih Al-Qa’a area of the Beqa’a Governorate, Wednesday, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.

According to NNA, the five Syrian men were arrested on the suspicion of aiding the Islamic State (ISIL) forces in eastern Lebanon.

The apprehended men were transferred to one of the military barracks for interrogation, the NNA report added.
