BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:25 P.M.) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has recently threatened to “conduct an operation” against a U.S. credit rating agency after the latter made several “unnecessary statements” about his regime, the Financial Times reported on Thursday.

Erdogan warned the Moody’s credit rating agency that he will launch an ‘operation’ after they downgraded Turkey’s economy once again.

“God willing, we will conduct an operation against Moody’s after June 24. Moody’s is making unnecessary statements despite the fact that we are not a member of it. What a shame,” President Erdogan said earlier this week.

Moody’s has yet to respond to the Turkish President’s threats.

Is it Moody’s fault if Turkish economy is plummeting? Or is it due to Erdogan’s mismanagement of the country?
And so what operation Erdogan considers? Invading Moody’s like Afrin?
