BEIRUT, LÍBANO. El Ejército Árabe Sirio (EAS), junto con el Ejército de Liberación Palestino (PLA) han reanudado la ofensiva en el este de Al-Suweida esta mañana, dirigiéndose hacia las posiciones del Ejército Libre Sirio (FSA) junto a la frontera jordana.

Liderados por el Quinto Cuerpo de Asalto, EAS y PLA han atacado las ciudades de Qa’a Al-Masarah y Wadi Al-Sha’ab, superando rápidamente las defensa del FSA después de tres horas de batalla.

Fuerzas del EAS y del PLA han logrado tomar el control de Qa’a Masarah and Wadi Al-Sha’ab después de que combatientes del FSA abandonaran sus posiciones para retirarse a la guarnición militar nº133 en la frontera con Jordania.

Tras este avance, las fuerzas del EAS y del PLA se encuentran en las inmediaciones de esta guarnición, poniendo contra las cuerdas a las milicias del FSA.
