BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:45 A.M.) – More drone footage (shown below) has emerged from the Syrian Army showing part of its operation that led to the seizure of the Jisreen district in Damascus’ East Ghouta region.

Specifically, the footage shows the exploits of a single Syrian Army tank crew that engaged a group of rebel fighters whilst the were in the midst of retreating from the Jisreen district.

The Syrian tank, in support of storming troops, attacked a building that was serving as a strong-point area from insurgents; by any standard, the fight took place at what is considered to be point-blank range.

The Syrian Army tank at first scared Islamist fighters into abandoning the building by shelling it and then engaged them with another round as they retreated into the street, reporting scoring a direct hit and killing some.
