DAMASCUS, SYRIA (10:40 P.M.) – Life has been steadily getting back to normal in Aleppo city since its complete liberation from jihadist forces in December 2016. And city hospitals are affected by improvements as well.
New equipment recently installed in Aleppo’s medical institutions has allowed medical staff to perform cardiac surgeries, after a 4-year long hiatus. Medics now seek to make up for the time they forcedly lost.
One of the city’s top cardio centres, Al Bassel hospital, is among those institutions to have resumed heart operations.
Last week alone, the clinic reportedly conducted over 100 successful surgical procedures.
