  1. IDF should REALLY give a call to Rheimetal/Oerlikon
Skyranger/SkyShield/MANTIS would be a perfect complement for Iron-Dome…
Look what happens to a drone at 1:47 :
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEqP0p7484M
a SINGLE SHOT from the 35mm gun! In fact, the shell separates into 152 tungsten pellets 30m before impact…
And now, since Iron-Beam is still not introduced, our Swiss friends add HEL (high energy Laser) to the system :
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUGpCUkFwYI
Perfect for drones, Molotov balloons/kites, small mortars or rockets launched at very short range, in the Iron-Dome gap (all missiles have minimum ranges under which they’re ineffective), it’s also effective against artillery, low flying aircraft, cruises missiles etc etc etc…
Iron-Dome is already extremely frustrating, the Rheimetal/Oerlikon system would achieve total frustration and for cheaper per kill than missiles : a Laser shot or a 35mm frag shell with a timer are far less expensive than a Tamir interceptor…
In the case of incendiary balloons/kites, it may even end very funny since arsonists are likely to start an arson on their own turf.
