BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:30 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) should not be allowed to enter the city of Manbij in northeast Aleppo, the Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hami Aksoy said on Friday morning.

“The regime shouldn’t be allowed to enter Manbij,” Aksoy said, as quoted by the Yeni Safak publication.

Turkey has been actively pushing to force the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and their allies from Manbij, despite the fact that the group protecting the city are locals.

Aksoy did not specify why they shouldn’t be allowed to enter; however, Turkey has actively worked to prevent the Syrian military from seizing any border points over the last two years.

During the Syrian Arab Army’s large-scale offensive in the Latakia countryside in 2015 and 2016, Turkey actively aided the jihadist and rebel forces as the government pushed towards the dense forests along the border.

The Turkish military would later down a Russian Su-24 jet that was bombarding the jihadist rebels in the Latakia province.

In addition to attacking the Syrian Arab Army, the Turkish military has also set up observation posts across northwest Syria in an attempt to block the government from retaking areas back from the rebels.

The Syrian government has demanded that Turkey immediately withdraw from the country; however, Ankara insists that their presence is merely to “combat terrorists”.

These are echos of turkish Ottomaniac dreams, nightmares to the rest of the world. Turkey has no say in matters of their neighbours, just like they do not accept interference from their neighbours.

Turkey’s Sultan has actively aided the terrorists mercenaries since the beginning of the Syrian oil war. And he has demanded territories from Syria and Iraq with a number of reasons among them the Turkish National Oath Misak-ı Millî. which claims tracts of all neighbor countries.

is very overbearing this president of Turkey, he thinks he should meddle in the internal affairs of Syria.

Wait, he’ll reclaim the whole Arabian peninsula, up to parts of Romania, Hungary or Austria.

You forgot Cuba and North America (the continent). I still laugh when I recall a year ago how Erdogan said on an interview that before Christopher Columbus first people finding North America were the Ottomans. He claimed that the Ottomans reached Cuba and they’ve seen a Mosque there. Then they reached North America. All this about 150 years before Christopher Columbus was there. So much to laugh…

@USR, but that was centuries after the Vikings who also founded Russia were there. So he will find that the Czar has older rights.

@Daeshbags-Sux, LOL. but when the Ottoman armies reached the border of the Sacrum Imperium Romanum, a little river that their horseman could ford riding, they had started a war with e.g. Germany and other parts of Sacrum Imperium Romanum while they thought they still only fought the Habsburg dynasty of Austria.

And then the estates of Sacrum Imperium Romanum would vote on money far war and look for allies and mercenaries. The result was inevitably an Ottoman defeat proportionate to the money raised.

p.s. times have changed, we have the EU as sort of political successor of the old empire. But IMHO the result will be the same.

Right… I am giving that b*****d c**t-hole country called Shitskey (aka Turkey) the middle finger 😉 They are clearly that biggest assholes in existence. I know, let’s initiate a Turkish-Ottoman Genocide. Let’s see how those bastards like it? Maybe that will make up for all the millions of innocents that those b*****d dogs have killed 😉

Lo que decepciona que el gobierno Ruso permite a Erdogan a salirse con la suya, Siria está en todo su derecho a recuperar, al contrario Turquía debe abandonar inmediatamente el territorio Sirio.
