BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 A.M.) – The top U.S. naval commander overseeing operations in the Middle East has been found dead in Bahrain, the Navy said in a statement on Saturday, as reported by CNN.

According to CNN, Vice Admiral Scott Sterney was found dead inside of his Bahrain residence; however, no foul play was suspected.

The reason for his death is still being determined, the report continued.

Vice Admiral Jim Malloy is preparing to fly out to temporarily replace Sterney, the report added.

Isn’t this 2nd death within about 2 1/2yrs? Press release stated suicide and he was responsible nuclear weapons, reported directly to the president. Happened just prior to Trumps inauguration.

@Sweet Robert, maybe create a member account. Lost and damaged posts happened also to me when I was only signed as guest. Some others also complained.

p.s. The sudden death of one of the U.S. Navy’s top commanders in the Middle East was likely the result of a suicide, according to recent report.
