BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:00 P.M.) – Minutes ago, the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) unleashed a heavy assault across the southern and eastern regions of the Idlib Governorate.
According to a military source in nearby Hama, the Syrian Air Force heavily targeted Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions near Khan Sheikhoun (southern Idlib) and Saraqib (eastern Idlib).
Following their airstrikes, the Syrian military launched a barrage of missiles towards Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions near the southern Idlib towns of Khan Sheikhoun, Ma’arat Al-Nu’man, and Deir Sharqi.
Syrian Army artillery units then targeted Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s defenses at the border-town of Bdama near Turkey’s Hatay Province.
This Syrian military attack was launched in response to Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s recent threats to carry out more raids against the military.
