BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:00 P.M.) – The Saudi Coalition announced on Friday that they have begun a probe into the attack that killed over 50 people on Wednesday.
“The leadership of the coalition has ordered the immediate opening of an investigation to assess the events, clarify their circumstances and announce the results as soon as possible,” the state-owned Saudi Press Agency reported, citing a senior coalition official.
The probe will delve into the Saudi Coalition’s airstrike on a bus carrying a large number of children in the Sa’ada Governorate.
According to local reports, at least 40 children were killed during the attack.
The Saudi Coalition previously stated that the attack was targeting a bus carrying Houthi missiles.
