BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:05 A.M.) – The Russian Air Force has unleashed their second round of airstrikes over northwestern Syria this evening, targeting several areas under the control of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.
Led by their Sukhoi jets, the Russian Air Force reportedly launched several airstrikes over the southwestern Idlib towns of Ariha and Khan Sheikhoun; they would also target the jihadist-held Arbaeen Mountain.
The Russian Air Force resumed their air campaign over the Idlib Governorate on Thursday after their ceasefire talks with the Turkish regime fell apart.
According to a source in Damascus, the Russian military rejected the Turkish regime’s demands, which called on the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) to withdraw from all the areas they recently captured in northwestern Hama.
The Syrian Army has halted their ground offensive in northwestern Syria at this time; however, this could change in the coming days, as the situation continues to get progressively worse.
