BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:50 A.M) – Jaysh Al-Islam announced tonight that they have reached a preliminary agreement with the Russian Reconciliation Center that would allow for the latter to transport their critical wounded fighters to northern Syria.

Based on the details of the agreement, Jaysh Al-Islam will allow Russia to transport their wounded fighters to Idlib in exchange for an extended ceasefire inside the town of Douma.

According to a military source in Damascus, a full agreement is expected to be announced in the next 48 hours.

The source added that Jaysh Al-Islam is close to accepting all of the Syrian military’s terms, including their departure from Douma to northern Syria.

So basically JAI get’s to evacuate their wounded terrorist scum while also getting a “ceasefire” that actually also benefits them since they are currently the weaker side in this theater. Doesn’t sound like a good deal for Syria to me.

It’s fine. You have to give up a little bit of the strings from time to time.

JaI has got an awful lot of prisoners/kidnapped people. In the range of thousands. Getting them released (and not executed, like in the last days of the Aleppo Battle) is an honorable effort.
Oh, and they’re not getting much tactical advantage from a ceasefire, in their situation – no reinforcements, no ammo refill, any new trench or defense plotted by drones.

Yielding for their wounded will soften their resolve.
The wounded also had sworn to die – now they leave.
LOL.

p.s. Few that publicly swear to die fighting will do so when they are offered ar chance to live.

There are no officers from “NATO , ISraeHELL and GCC”.
Maybe military contractors but absolutely no military officers.

p.s. All the rumours about foreign military contractors and military personnel in Jihadi ranks have so far evaporated.
They have proven a fata „Fee“ Morgana.

NATO is not even involved in the conclict. And there is no such thing as NATO officers. NATO has no army and no officers. The members of the alliance have armies and officers. Some NATO countries like the US, UK and Turkey have military in Syria.
