BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:50 A.M.) – Intense clashes have broken out between the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the western countryside of Al-Raqqa, tonight, a military source informed Al-Masdar.

According to the source, units from the Syrian Arab Army attempted to cross SDF front-lines in order to rescue their fallen pilot; however, they were turned away by the latter.

This resulted in a fierce confrontation that is currently ongoing between the two entities near the key town of Resafa in western Al-Raqqa.

The pilot in need of rescue was identified as ‘Ali Fahd, an officer in the Syrian Air Force from the city of Salamiyah in the eastern countryside of the Hama Governorate.

More details to come…

  1. Any other bullsh*t about Kurds being “friendly” and letting SAA cross their lines for specific missions?
Looks like USA has set up yet another illegal “de-escalation zone” where only they can fly and walk.

  2. Remove troop from the Manjib area, and let the kurds dealing with the turcs : they want that or ❓

    • Yes sir, exactly what i hope and thinking about. Turks have can be used here to punish and control the kurds.
At the end of the day both are a couple of vile traitors one more than the other.

      • yes i think syria is using that turkish dog ever since he came into syria for doing the dirty job of cutting up the kurds,,,syria might just allow him more room to manoeuvre now

    • I agree. Its time to show the Kurds that only loyalty begets loyalty and why should Syrian and Russian troops risk their lives for the Kurdish opportunists. It would also bring the US into direct conflict with Turkey, so its a Win Win. Syria can pick up the pieces after the criminals destroy each other. With a bit of luck it may also start a major civil war in Turkey caused by the US weapons gifts to the Kurds.

  3. Visibly, the Su-22 pilot opened fire on SDF. See what follows on.
Su-22 are really old cows with no nothing like modern EO/IRST.
With everybody on the ground using ‘technicals’ and no mean to clearly identify
who is who, it is likely to stupidly have begun by an oooops strike.
Or maybe a very stupid pilot willing to start a confrontation : it’s not
the 1st time s.o. in Govt forces would have acted stupid : just look at some
idiots in Golan Heights shelling into Israel and then you have a bunch of idiots
bitching on the retaliation which nearly all the time was very measured, doing
    only limited material damages.
Well, in our rainy regions, we have more depressives, in the Mediterranean sunny areas,
there are much more hysterical people with hot heads. It has always been a gruesome issue
as hysterics are more prone to conflict, thus, if northerners are less prone to start fights,
when it starts, cold heads are much more dangerous, that’s why it has always sucked big league to confront the Russians, the Germans/Frenchs or the Vikings.

    • Mon ami, even if the the pilot shot at SDF by mistake You do not shoot a plane down and attempt to prevent the pilot’s recovery. The US are showing off their big dick again.

    • But when Turkey open fire on SDF, there is no answer from US.

You are saying the pilot is crazy ❓ Using a flying cow, just an old bomber, not a modern warplane, and he would try to face an F18 SuperHornet ❓ What have drunk or smoked sir ❓

Just a question : Raqqa is north-east from Taqba, no, or the earth has now an inverted pole ❓
So why is SDF going south, else to disturb SAA ❓

The problem is that there is no coordination. May be the SDF do not want ❓ They have to expose the case.

  4. Just yesterday, I said let’s calm down because we soon will see on which side the Kurds are. Now we know. I have no sorrow that the free countries in the region (Russia, Syria, Iran, Iraq) with their new ally Turkey will teach the Kurds what fruits treason brings.
