BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:15 P.M.) – Deir Ezzor’s military airport has been struck by an ISIS suicide bombing after a militant belonging to the terrorist group managed to enter the military site without alerting base authorities.

According to reports, an Islamic State fighter of Chechen origin, dressed up as a Russian solider and speaking Russian to the Syrian guards at the gate, managed to bypass the airbase’s security.

After entering the base, the ISIS suicide bomber approached a grouping of Syrian Arab Army soldiers and then detonated a vest bomb.

A preliminary casualty report puts Syrian Army losses at one solider killed and 2 injured as a result of the attack.

Chechnians have a typically Central Asian macho tribal culture. Honour is king in such cultures.
Combine that with a toxic religious zeal (Wahhabism) and you have bat-shit crazy!
