El Ejército Árabe Sirio, junto con Hezbolá y las Fuerzas de Defensa Nacional, han lanzado hoy un poderoso asalto en el eje de Halfaya, al norte de Hama, dirigido a los rebeldes yihadistas de Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, al suroeste de dicha ciudad.

Dirigidos por su 5ª Legión, el ejército árabe sirio y sus aliados intentaron liberar la pequeña aldea de al-Tarabiah, cerca del eje del sudoeste de Halfaya, lo que llevó a una serie de enfrentamientos intensos.

A pesar de la intensidad del asalto, el ejército árabe sirio y sus aliados no pudieron capturar al-Tarabiah, después de más de tres horas de lucha.

Una fuente militar en el norte de Hama, afirmó a Al-Masdar el jueves, que el ejército sirio y sus aliados se vieron obligados a retirarse de al-Tarabiah después de sufrir grandes bajas.

Las fuerzas aéreas rusas y sirias están ahora lanzando ataques aéreos sobre esta pequeña aldea con el fin de debilitar la resolución yihadista y allanar el camino para otro ataque del ejército.
