BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:20 A.M.) – The situation in Aleppo is incredibly tense at the moment, as both the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and jihadist rebels trade blows around the provincial capital.
The hostilities began this evening when the jihadist rebels in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo launched a plethora of missiles towards the historical city.
According to a military source in Aleppo city, the jihadist rebels inside the Rashiddeen 4 and 5 areas fired a dozen missiles into the New Aleppo District, causing several explosions around the residential neighborhoods.
Shortly after the jihadist attack, the Syrian Arab Army responded with their own missile barrage, hitting a number of targets inside the Rashiddeen area.
The two would then trade blows at the same time, with the jihadist rebels taking the brunt of the missile exchange.
