A climax of violence erupted this Thursday across the West Bank and East Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of two Israeli Occupation soldiers and the execution of three Palestinians.

The “escalation of violence” reported upon across the Western Press, this Thursday, was rooted in a recent campaign of violent raids by the Israeli Army, which resulted in the murder of two Palestinians.

In the Tulkarem refugee camp, on the 4th of December, during a series of violent raids conducted by the Israeli Army, Mohammed Hossam Hbali was shot in the back of the head by an Israeli soldier. The twenty two year old suffered with mental health problems.

Later, on Thursday morning, Ashraf Na’Awla, was also killed in the Askar refugee camp, by Israeli soldiers who entered his home. His body was stolen and his entire immediate family arrested.

Both Ashraf Na’Awla and Salih Barghouti, were allegedly behind seperate attacks upon Israeli settlers, according to the Israeli Army.

Palestinians then took to the streets, across the West Bank. Israeli occupation forces, as well as illegal settlers, also began a series of violent attacks upon Palestinians.

A Palestinian man from Jerusalem, Majd Muteir, was later shot dead, following a knife attack upon Israeli police in East Jerusalem, resulting in two reported injuries.

All three previous killings took place, within a 6 hour time period.

Another Palestinian man was then killed, in Al-Bireh near Ramallah. The 60 year old man, Hamdan Tarfiq Ardah, was a victim of a Israeli settler car ramming attack. Israeli military forces prevented Palestinian ambulances from reaching the elderly man.

Later that day, unidentified Palestinian gunmen opened fire upon several Israeli soldiers, at a bus-stop near the Ofra (illegal Jewish Settlement), killing two and severely injuring a third. Hamas, claimed responsibility for the attack. The Israeli military later admitted the deaths of its soldiers and released their identities.
